KELLY'S GREAT GRANDFATHER, HENRY GENT, WAS A BOOT MAKER IN LONDON WHICH WAS CONTINUED BY HER GRANDPA BOB.  HIS SON, LES GENT, THEN WENT ON AND FOUNDED L.GENT&SONS IN 1956 TO PROVIDE INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINES TO THE FOOTWEAR TRADE SUPPLYING CLARKS IN SOMERSET, BUT ALSO AS FAR AFIELD AS SOUTH AFRICA.
